Day 1: When God is Late, He's Right on Time

Reading: John 11:1-44

Devotional: When Lazarus fell sick, Jesus stayed where He was. Mary and Martha couldn't understand the delay—their brother was dying, and Jesus, who loved him, didn't come. Sometimes God's timing feels like abandonment. But Jesus wasn't late; He was orchestrating something greater than healing. He was planning resurrection. In your waiting, God may not be absent—He may be preparing a miracle that only delays can produce. What you think is God's neglect might be His setup for greater glory. The same Jesus who called Lazarus from a four-day-old grave is never too late for your situation. Trust His timing, even when it makes no sense. Your resurrection moment is coming.

Reflection Question: Where in your life does God seem late? Can you trust Him for something greater than your original request?
