Day 4: Chaos Before Resurrection

Reading: Matthew 27:45-54; Matthew 28:1-10

Devotional: Between Friday's crucifixion and Sunday's resurrection was Saturday's silence—a day of confusion, fear, and shattered hope. The disciples hid. Peter wept over his denial. Mary stared at a sealed tomb. Everything looked finished. But God was working in the darkness. When Jesus died, the earth shook, the temple veil tore, and tombs opened. Chaos preceded resurrection. Your darkest moment may be the setup for God's greatest miracle. When everything feels finished, remember: Sunday's coming. The same power that raised Jesus from death is available to you. Your situation may look dead, your hope may feel buried, but resurrection power specializes in impossible situations. Hold on. The stone will roll away.

Reflection Question: What "dead" situation in your life needs resurrection power? Can you trust God in the Saturday silence?
