Catalyst is excited to partner with Eddie Nichols and The Dream Center.  Establishing a Dream Center in Gadsden, Alabama has been the passion of Eddie Nichols for many years. As the founder of Breakaway Ministries, Eddie has dedicated his life to improving the lives of others through the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ. Breakaway Ministries seeks to be the hands and feet of Christ by providing support services to the poor and at-risk youth of Etowah County.  Catalyst has committed to partner with the Dream Center with our time, talents, and treasures.  Would you like to serve along side us?  Would you like to give financially to the ministry?  Could you serve/lead/participate in a Bible Study on Wednesday nights?  Would you like to work in the retail store on Saturdays?  Do you have an interest in loving on the kids on weekday afternoons?  This is just a few of the ways Catalyst is serving at The Dream Center.  The Dream Center is located at 600 Black Creek Road, Gadsden, AL 35904.  

Volunteer Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 10am or after
Sorting items that have been received , sanitizing/cleaning said items and putting them away until needed on store floor.

Monday (3rd-5th) 2:45-5:00pm
Tuesday (K-2nd) 2:45-5:00pm
Children will be fed, taught a Bible lesson, crafts, games, and have some free time to play until picked up. We need hands to help with children in these areas…can be a helper or if you would like you can lead out in an area.

Basketball coaches, Scoreboard Operator, Concessions, Door Admittance Attendant
Games are Saturdays (Dec-Feb) practice in November. Times vary depending on schedule.
Volunteers Needed
Basketball Coaches to help with teams (probably 2-4) scoreboard operators to run the board during games (2-4 for a rotation)
Concession Workers to help in stand (could be rotation as well)
Attendants to be at front door to take donation to get in (can be rotation schedule well, as we will need someone there most of the day)
