Day 5: Holding Tightly to Hope

Reading: Hebrews 10:19-25

Devotional: After letting go of sin, weight, and past baggage, what do we hold onto? Hope. Not wishful thinking or blind optimism, but confident trust in God's unchanging promises. This hope isn't dependent on your circumstances, other people, or how you feel today. It rests entirely on God's character and His faithfulness. Sometimes hope feels small—barely a flicker in overwhelming darkness. But a small hope in a big God is enough. Hold tightly without wavering to the hope you affirm, because God can be trusted to keep His promises. The world will break your heart. People will disappoint you. Jobs will fail you. But Jesus has overcome the world. As you move forward, stripped of unnecessary weight and freed from entangling sin, run your race with endurance. God has plans for you—good plans, not for evil. You haven't seen anything yet. This could be the year everything changes because you decided to let go and hold on to what truly matters.
