Day 1: The True Vine vs. False Vines

Reading: John 15:1-8

Devotional: Jesus didn't say "I am a vine"—He said "I am the TRUE vine." This distinction matters profoundly. Our world is filled with false vines promising fulfillment: success, money, relationships, even religious activity. These counterfeits glimmer and shine, making diamond promises but delivering emptiness. They provide temporary satisfaction but lead to spiritual withering from the inside out. The true vine provides everything your soul needs—joy, peace, purpose, and lasting fruit. Today, examine what you're truly connected to. Are you drawing life from Christ or from the world's empty promises? Real life flows only from genuine connection to Jesus. Everything else is counterfeit.
