Day 1: Peace in the Midst of Chaos

Reading: John 20:19-23

Devotional: The disciples huddled behind locked doors, paralyzed by fear and confusion. Their world had been shattered. Yet suddenly, Jesus stood among them with one word: "Peace." Notice that Jesus didn't wait for them to get their act together before showing up. He came right into their mess, their doubt, their fear. Today, you might be in your own locked room of anxiety, confusion, or pain. Remember this: Jesus doesn't wait for perfect conditions to meet you. He steps into your chaos and speaks peace over your storm. His presence changes everything. What locked door of fear do you need Jesus to walk through today? He's already there, waiting to speak peace to your troubled heart.
