Day 5: The Promise of His Presence

Reading: John 14:2-3; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Devotional: Jesus promised, "I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and take you to myself." Heaven isn't primarily about splendid accommodations—it's about being with God forever. Until that day, we remember Christ's sacrifice through communion, proclaiming His death until He comes.

The details of eternity remain mysterious to our finite minds, but we need not fear. Jesus has prepared the way through His death and resurrection, opening the door for us to live in relationship with God now and forever. This hope transforms how we face today, tomorrow, and the coming year. We're not just surviving until heaven; we're living in the power of His presence right now.
