Day 2: The Process of Becoming New

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 12:2

Devotional: "Old things are passing away and new things are coming"—it's happening simultaneously. Many Christians feel defeated because they still struggle with old patterns after accepting Christ. But transformation isn't instant; it's a process. God makes your spirit new immediately, but your mind, emotions, and habits need renewal over time. This isn't self-help; it's God-help. You can't fix yourself through willpower alone. As you stay close to Jesus, reading His Word and walking in His Spirit, He washes your mind and changes your heart from the inside out. Don't be discouraged by the journey. Every day you surrender to Him, you look a little less like your old self and a little more like Jesus. Trust the process.
