Day 5: Living as the Light You Were Called to Be

Reading: Ephesians 4:22-24

Devotional: Paul calls us to throw off the old self and put on the new nature, created to reflect God's righteousness and holiness. The question is no longer simply what can I get away with. The deeper question is what does my life reflect to the world around me. You are called to be a light in a dark place. Not a perfect light, but a consistent one. That means there are things to walk away from, not because of a list of rules, but because they do not fit who you are becoming. Knowing who you are brings clarity to your decisions. Let your identity lead the way today and every day that follows.

Reflection: What environments, habits, or relationships are currently calling you back to who you used to be rather than forward into who God is calling you to become?

Practical Application: Identify one specific change, whether an environment to leave, a habit to break, or a boundary to set, that aligns your daily life more closely with the identity God has given you. Take one concrete step toward that change today.
