Day 3: Letting Go to Be Made Whole
Reading: Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 3:5-10
Devotional: You cannot be made whole while holding onto what's breaking you. This is the hard truth many avoid. That toxic relationship, the bitterness you nurse, the secret sin you manage—these aren't just bad habits; they're symptoms of a fractured soul. Paul doesn't say "try harder." He says "throw off" and "put to death." These are violent, decisive actions. Healing requires releasing what's causing the infection. You can't heal what you refuse to release. Today, identify one thing you've been clinging to that God is asking you to surrender. It might be anger toward someone who hurt you, or a relationship that dishonors God. Wholeness begins when you open your hands and let it go, trusting that what God offers in return is infinitely better.
