Day 5: The Spirit's Presence and Heaven's Promise

Devotional: Jesus promised that His departure would bring advantage—the Holy Spirit would come. While Christ's physical presence was limited to one location, the Spirit can be everywhere, convicting hearts, leading believers, and interceding for us. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. You are led by the Spirit and called a child of God. Death holds no fear for those in Christ because we have a promise: an eternal home not made with hands. Paul said he'd rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. Today, recognize the Spirit's presence in your life. He strengthens you in weakness, guides you in truth, and guarantees your inheritance. Live with confidence knowing that whether in this body or the next, you belong to Christ forever.
